Associate Trial Attorney

David focuses his practice on the defense of physicians and healthcare professionals in medical malpractice litigation.

David received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, double majoring in Economics and Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations, and his law degree from Washington & Lee School of Law. During law school, David was a senior articles editor for the German Law Journal. He also gained experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Rebecca Connelly at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia.

Prior to joining Hodgkinson Street Mepham, David worked in municipal finance in Los Angeles and Portland as well as housing rights advocacy in New York City. When he’s not in court, you can find David playing basketball on the court at parks throughout Portland, running a charitable tabletop board game nonprofit, or exploring the PNW.
